The 2025/26 SportPesa League enters Round Four this weekend with a lively double-header at Dandora Stadium on Friday, October 3, setting the stage before the international break.

Both teams are still searching for their first win of the season. Patrick Odhiambo’s Homeboyz began with a goalless draw against newcomers Mara Sugar and will be hoping their recent recruits, who have already settled in well, can deliver away from home.
Sofapaka, meanwhile, have endured a difficult start under Ezekiel Akwana. A hard-fought point against AFC Leopards was followed by a bruising defeat to Gor Mahia last weekend, prompting their coach to question his players’ commitment.
However, history leans in Batoto Ba Mungu’s favour: they picked up four points against Homeboyz last season and last tasted defeat to Abana Beingo in November 2023.
The main event sees AFC Leopards looking to bounce back against an in-form Posta Rangers outfit that has been one of the early-season surprise packages.
Under Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo, the Mailmen have started brightly, claiming comeback victory over Mathare United before dismantling Tusker FC in commanding fashion. They are among the few teams yet to drop points and will be eager to prove they can sustain their fine run.
Leopards, however, will be equally motivated. After a sluggish opening display against Sofapaka, Ingwe know they need a lift, and facing a side that took all six points from them last season without conceding provides the perfect opportunity to make a statement.
